Anti-ragging

In pursuance to the judgment of the honorable supreme court of India dated 08.05.2009 in civil appeal No. 887/2009, The University grants commission has framed “UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher education institutions, 2009” which have been notified on 4th July 2009 in the Gazette of India. The college follows the regulation and guidelines issued by UGC, ANGRAU, and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the matter. To ensure ragging free campus and a serene residential ambiance for the newly admitted students, college-level Anti-Ragging Committee was constituted every year, and information regarding contact details of the committee member are made available to the students through open display on college and hostel notices boards and also on the university website. The committee members interact with students on campus and in hostels regularly to make the institution ragging-free. Anti-ragging sub-committees for boys and girls and sub-committee (day-wise) were also constituted separately to monitor the student activities in college and hostels.

  • Every student and parent should submit an affidavit at the time of admission stating that they will not involve in any sort of ragging activities. The details of the committees of Anti Ragging cell were detailed below
