From inception, we have worked to make the campus vibrant and mentoring by national experts. Positioned as one of the best choice amid all the affiliated colleges of ANGRAU, SKYCAS is considered one of the best institutes to pursue higher education in Agricultural Sciences. Spread across 110 Acre campus provides premier infrastructure. It has state-of-the-art facilities to meet the requirements of academic programs, with well-laid-out classrooms, elegantly landscaped exteriors, upgraded amenities, academic departments, and central facilities like library, hostels, indoor stadiums, Gymnasium, playgrounds, etc. Known for its teaching-learning approach, our students are taught by an experienced faculty in an environment that prepares them for the real world.

Agriculture, an integral part of our culture decides the direction of the country in terms of socio-economic development. Today, we have moved from traditional farming to use of automated precision methods to speed up tasks at hand. Technology has taken over our lives and farming is no exception, adopting changes which are efficient, accurate and productive, into its culture. Backed up by a young scientific community teaming with innovators and entrepreneurs, encouraged by the Government’s proactive policies to enable agriculture as a primary contributor to GDP of our country, the field of agriculture has never shown more promise.

At SKY College of Agricultural Sciences we encourage innovative ideas, experiment, educate students and nurture science and professionalism using methodologies that transcend traditional learning. Working with an extensive network of partners we offer the best in class infrastructure facilities at the campus as well as practical field to our students providing on field knowledge about crop production and crop protection.

The overall mission of the College of Agricultural Sciences is to provide knowledge and support for teaching, conducting research and capacity-building on the principles and practices for climate-smart, sustainable agriculture to produce healthy food with higher factor productivity and livelihood security. we empower and benefit farm community at large through extension research, farm meetings that engages students and researchers with on-field experience and lab facilities par excellence to generate path breaking interventions.
