Scholarships

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to implement the Post Metric Scholarships scheme on a saturation basis for all qualified students from the SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority, and Differently Abled categories. 1,700,000 1,650,000 Scholarships are disbursed under two schemes: 1,600,000.

(a) RTF: to offer full fee reimbursement to every eligible student, i.e. Full Fee (Tuition Fee, Special Fees, Other Fees, and Exam Fees) as stated in the G.O.Ms.No.66, SW(Edn) Dept., dated 8-9-2010 and as determined by the competent authorities is reimbursed to all eligible students. ii. The whole cost will be credited to the respective College accounts on behalf of the students.

(b) MTF: to grant Rs. 10,000/- per person to ITI students, Rs. 15,000/- per person to Polytechnic students, and Rs. 20,000/- per person for other Degree and above courses per year to all qualifying students for food and 1,600,000 1,550,000 dormitory expenditures. MTF will be credited to the account of the qualified student’s mother. In the event of the mother’s death or absence, the sum will be credited to the account of the student’s natural guardian.
