World Earth Day 2025 celebrations have done in Sri Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu College of Agricultural Sciences (SKYCAS) on 22-04-2025. The Associate Dean of the College Dr.K.Mosha addressed the students and Faculty gathered and highlighted the importance of Protection of Mother Earth from all types of our unconscious actions, no matter how insignificant we may think it is, has a direct impact on the environment and planet Earth.   

World Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April every year. 2025 would mark the 55th anniversary of the World Earth Day celebration. The first ever Earth Day was organised in the year 1970 by Senator Gaylord Nelson and Denis Hayes. Gaylord Nelson was a U.S senator who is known as the father of Earth Day. 

The theme for World Earth Day 2025 is “Our Power, our Planet.
